This is the 3 lens set for our 1200w HMI Par. It includes 1 each of the following: Narrow beam, Wide beam and Diffused lenses all with a metal ring for protection of the edges of the lens and to act as a guide for the lens to snap into the lens holder on the front of the par. This is really an indispensable accessory for the par since it only comes with the glass safety lens. As with any par of this type, the lens set helps shape the beam to be more usable.

Construction: Powder coated aluminum castings and anodized aluminum extrusions.
Weight: 9.5 lbs.
Lens: 110mm diameter high quality borosilicate fresnel type lens.
Lumens per watt: 86 (vs. 20 LPW for tungsten fresnels).
Light output: hard (super well defined shadows and edges) and 13,000 lumens, thus it is the equivalent of a 650w tungsten fresnel (but only draws 150w).
Focusing: Focusing drive adjustable from a knob on the back of the unit.

Included accessories: whisper silent universal 150w CDM electronic ballast (100v to 240vAC 50/60hz), carabiner on nylon strap for attaching ballast to light stand, 9 foot ballast-to-head cable with high quality 3 pin ballast military bayonet connector, 15 foot IEC type power cord, barndoors, yoke, baby stand adapter and choice of high CRI (85 to 90) metal halide bulb in either 3000K (ceramic metal halide / HCI type) or 5400K (quartz metal halide / HQI type). HMI 575 Cool Lights

The Cool Lights CL-MF0575 HMI Fresnel is the perfect, portable hard light compliment to our Softlight series. Based on Osram HMI 575w single ended bulb (or compatible products), it is driven by our "pro" 575/1200 electronic ballast--the same model used with the Cool Lights 1200w par. Operation is flicker free. Ballast is silent with a whisper fan. Lumens per watt is 86 for this solution. Light output is 49,000 lumens, thus it is the equivalent of a 2400w tungsten fresnel.

Includes: 575/1200 watt electronic ballast (100 to 240v 50/60hz), 30 foot ballast to head cable with high quality, quick lock military-style 4 pin connector on one end and a 7 pin ballast connector on the other, 15 foot power cord, yoke, barndoors and baby stand adapter. Uses an Osram HMI 575WSE Hot Restrike Single Ended G22 bulb or equivalent.

HMI 1200w Cool Light

The Cool Lights 1200w HMI Par is the ultimate "big gun" in location and studio lighting. Using a hot restrike G38 base Osram type 1200w HMI single ended bulb, the output is follow-spot like and is often bounced off a ceiling or bounce board for a beautiful daylight soft effect. Using the optional narrow, wide or diffused beam 10" snap in lenses, you can directly light a subject and "fight daylight" on interiors with large numbers of windows. The included silent and flicker free electronic ballast can drive either the 1200w par or a 575w "head" like our current model "pro" CL-MF0575 HMI Fresnel. Output intensity can be fine tuned with the included dimmer on the ballast.
